The Class of 2022 commencement will take place at 10 a.m. Saturday, June 25 on the football field.
- Parents/family friends can start arriving at 9 a.m.
- Graduates should be here no later than 9:30 a.m.
- The ceremony will begin at 10 a.m.
Congratulations to Chyler Barnes, who signed her letter of intent to play field hockey at SUNY Morrisville this fall! Good luck!

REMINDER: The annual Walton CSD music awards concert will be held at 5:30 p.m. Wednesday, June 8.
The concert will be held in the courtyard at the high school and will have a BBQ-style picnic sponsored by the Friends of Music. The meal is $4 for adults, and $2 for students.
In the event of inclement weather, everything will be moved inside to the cafeteria and auditorium.
Throughout the evening, a variety of string, woodwind, and choral ensembles and soloists will perform.
The event will be capped off with short performances by the large high school ensembles (orchestra, chorus, and band).
Letter and pin awards, as well as NYSSMA medals, will be presented during the concert. Special senior recognition awards and underclassmen awards will be given our by the Friends of Music.
Community members are invited to attend and are encouraged to bring your own lawn chairs or blankets for seating.
Angelica and Willie from “Where The Dogs Go” recently visited the small animal care class to teach students about dog grooming.
The students had hands-on training to learn about the process and also learning more about a career as a dog groomer.

To close out the sheep and goat unit in the animal science class, students had the chance to learn more about wool and how we get yarn. They learned the art of felting and made felted dogs and cats. They also made yarn gnomes to give as gifts.

College and Career Week was recently held in the high school. Students had the chance to learn about many careers and colleges. Speakers covered a wide range of topics, and activities were held throughout the week!

Walton's delegates are Mackenzie Backus and Havyn Merwin. Meadow Wood will receive her Empire Degree, and Delana Wood will compete in junior prepared speech. Also attending is our vet science team (Akyra Barringer, Mackenzie Backus, Zoey Gilmore, and Havyn Merwin).

Because of the recently used snow day, May 31 will now be an instructional day for students and school will be in session.
Parents and caregivers of students in the Mack Middle School and O'Neill High School are invited to join us at 5:30 p.m. Tuesday, May 3 for the annual Title 1 Parent Information meeting. The presentation will discuss Title 1 and how it benefits our students.
