The Walton Central School District music department is hosting three concerts this month.

 

The high school concert is scheduled for 7 p.m. Tuesday, May 14, the elementary concert is set for 6 p.m. Wednesday, May 22, and the middle school is set for 7 p.m. Thursday, May 23. All concerts are held at the high school auditorium and are free to attend.

 

The high school concert will include the symphonic orchestra and high school chorus, under the direction of Jennifer Bartlett. The high school band is conducted by Raymond Bartlett. Also performing will be the brass ensemble, the saxophone ensemble and the men’s ensemble. Elijah Williams will perform a portion of his tenor sax NYSSMA solo.

 

Large ensembles at the middle school concert will be the sixth-grade orchestra, the seventh- and eighth-grade orchestra, and the chorus, all directed by Jennifer Bartlett. The sixth-grade band, and the seventh- and eighth-grade band will conducted by Raymond Bartlett.

 

The elementary concert will feature the third-grade chorus, the advanced band, and the beginning band, directed by Theresa Bolton. The fifth-grade chorus, and orchestra, directed by Giancarlo Sidoli, will also perform.
