Eight new members were inducted into the Walton CSD chapter of the National Honor Society earlier this week.
The new members are:
- Garrett Day
- Madison Greene
- Caden LeBarge
- Meyer Little
- Makara MacGibbon
- Gianni Marano
- Elizabeth Richards
- Rachel Trimbell
The ceremony included the traditional candle lighting, as well as explanations of scholarship, leadership, character, and service. New members received their hood, pen, and signed the Walton CSD book. Last year's members and officers led the ceremony.
The new inductees also recited the NHS pledge:
“I pledge myself to uphold the high purposes of this society to which I have been elected, striving in every way by word and deed to make its ideals the ideals of my school and of my life.”
