The Warriors Crush Hunger kickoff was a huge success when Townsend Elementary Students brought in buckets full of items to be donated to the Walton Food Bank.
Following a visit to Townsend by WCS athletes to promote the idea, elementary students responded by filing five buckets.
The food was brought to the ARC of Delaware County to add to the donation Kraft provided. Everything will be delivered to the UP church food bank.
Walton CSD athletes helped load the items onto the truck to be delivered.
