Walton CSD chorus students were treated to a workshop sponsored by Music on the Delaware featuring Lauren Jelencovich.
Jelencovich tours with Yanni as his featured vocalist, performing at venues all over the world, including Carnegie Hall and the Radio City Music Hall. In addition to appearing with Yanni, she has garnered great acclaim for her sparkling portrayals of opera and musical theatre roles throughout the United States and abroad. Jelencovich is currently writing and working on a new album of crossover music. She is a graduate of the Manhattan School of Music.
She appeared at Walton CSD along with her accompanist Shane Shag to work with the high school chorus. Students had the chance to ask questions, as well as watch her perform.
