The Walton Central School music department will present a musical revue at 7 p.m. Friday, June 18, and Saturday, June 19. The event will be held in the high school auditorium.

Because of social distancing requirements and contract tracing, tickets ($7 for adults, $5 for students) are on sale ahead of time and can be purchased at the front desk at the high school entrance, Molto Espresso, or the Walton Music House. Please note, masks must be worn through the duration of the event.

The production will feature songs from a myriad of different musicals. Students have chosen some of their favorite songs from more than a dozen musicals. The songs will be performed in costumes with some sets.

Last year, Covid canceled the spring musical of “My Fair Lady” a week and a half before the performance. Some of the students will now have the chance to perform some of those songs. Dominick Siniscalchi will perform “Get Me to the Church on Time,” Caden LeBarge will sing “On the Street Where You Live,” and a few male performers will sing “With a Little Bit of Luck.”

Other songs being performed include “Evermore” from Beauty and the Beast by Anthony Cetta, “You’ll Be Back” from Hamilton, performed by Anthony Conway, and “She Used to Be Mine” from Waitress, performed by Kora Young.

Nearly a dozen performers will sing solos, duets, and small ensembles throughout the evening. The culmination of the show will be a performance by the entire cast singing “One More Day” from Les Miserables.
