The New York State Public High School Athletic Association (NYSPHSAA) has announced high-risk sports will be able to begin, effective February 1, 2021. This is contingent based on approval from local health departments.
The Walton Central School District will work with district administration, local health departments, NYSPHSAA, Section Four, and the Midstate Athletic Conference as we prepare for this. We will be working on a comprehensive plan, should we be permitted to move forward after following all protocols for high-risk athletics.
We will continue to update as we move forward with this process.
