Ashley Miller, the general manager of Staples in Vestal, donated school supplies to Townsend Elementary. The supplies came from a supply drive held at the store, which generated donations from staff and customers.
As a result of the generous gift, students in all grades received some donations. Students received the following:
- All fifth graders: Two-pocket folder
- All third and fourth graders: Set of Crayola colored pencils with a sharpener.
- All UPK-second graders: Crayola crayons
Also, the store donated some personal hand sanitizers to the school.
Walton CSD appreciates the donation and students have immediately put the items to use.
