Winners announced for fire prevention safety poster contest

The annual fire prevention safety poster contest was recently held at Townsend Elementary, and the winners have also been announced.

Walton firefighter Bob Lang delivered the ribbons and plaques to winners. Students participate during Lori Cucciarre’s art classes, creating posters based on lessons learned from the fire department and teachers about fire safety. The contest is for students in first through fifth grade.
