The Walton Central School District will host its annual early dismissal drill on Friday, October 16.
Townsend Elementary will dismiss 10 minutes early, with times of release being: 2:25 (kindergarten), 2:30 (first grade), and 2:35 (second through fifth). Bus students will be home 10 to 15 minutes earlier than usual.
For students in the middle and high schools, students will be dismissed approximately 15 minutes earlier than normal. Those students who attend Career Academy and afternoon BOCES will also be arriving back to campus approximately 15 minutes earlier than normal.
