The Walton Central School District has planned two days next week for device pickup for the 2020-21 school year.

Townsend Elementary (remote learners only)

For Townsend, the pickup is for those who will be remote learners. If students are attending school in person, you do not need to pick up devices. The times are as follows (pickup at the back of the building):

  • Monday, August 31: 9-10 a.m.
  • Tuesday, September 1: 1:30-2:30 p.m.

Middle and high school (all students)

The device and supply pickup will be for all students in the middle and high school and will be held in the middle school gym. This includes all hybrid learners and fully remote learners. This pickup also includes those who have their own devices.

Chromebooks, masks, and water bottles will be handed out. Additionally, resources to assist with hybrid and remote learning will be provided.

Information regarding all-day BOCES students and their programming will be forthcoming.

In order to follow state guidelines, please wear a mask and remain socially distant when picking up devices and supplies.

You will enter through the middle school entrance and proceed into the gymnasium. If nobody from your household is able to pick up during the allotted times, please contact the appropriate building office.
