Screening postponed
Kindergarten screening appointments have been postponed until the Governor lifts restrictions on schools. At this time, we will not have another date because of the guidelines, but will contact each family as soon as we can reschedule.
Your child is already registered for school this fall, even with the screening at this time. If your child will be 5 years old on or before December 1, 2020, they are eligible to come to kindergarten. There is still time to register by calling 607-865-5220, ext. 4077. A registration packet will be mailed to you.
UPK registration
Children who will be 4 years old by December 1, 2020, are eligible to enroll in our UPK program. There are 36 slots available and they are awarded in a lottery system. If you need an application, please call 607-865-5220, ext. 4077, or email your name and address to pwood@waltoncsd.org.
UPK are half-day classes, with mornings running from 8-10:30 a.m., and the afternoon session running from 12-2:30 p.m. If you have any additional questions, please call the office at the number above.
