This update is also going out as a school messenger, and covers meal delivery/pickup, as well as schoolwork.

Meal deliveries
Beginning next week (Monday, March 30), the Walton Central School District will deliver meals and have pickups on Mondays and Thursdays. On Monday, the meal packs will have enough meals to last through Wednesday; and Thursday’s delivery will have enough to last through Friday.

Also starting March 30, curbside and walkup meals will be provided from 11 a.m.-12:30 p.m. with the same extra meals as the bus deliveries. Because we have not had many pickups at the high school, all curbside and walkup meals will be available at Townsend Elementary.

Schoolwork pickup
Middle school work distribution will only be on Thursdays. Work pickup or delivery issues need to be resolved after calling the middle school office.

The high school continues to form ways of getting work to students who need it. Updates on that process should be expected soon.

Calling the district
If you are calling the school district during this time, please call the main number: 607-865-4116, and select the operator. Because of limited staff during this time, not all offices have people each day. That number will go to a person who can help you.
