Sixth grader Christian Faulkner earned the inaugural championship of the middle school Connect Four tournament.
Initially, each grade held a tournament with champions being declared in each grade. The finals came down to Faulkner and eighth grader Adara Allen. The two played the best-of-three series in front of the middle school student body during an awards assembly. The finals went all three matches.
Before the championship game, Middle School Principal Adam Hoover and Dean of Students Ryan Ashlaw played an exhibition game to the cheers of the students.
The grade-level champions were:
- 6th: Christian Faulkner
- 7th: Anthony Soto
- 8th: Adara Allen
