High school students help sixth graders

Four Walton CSD high school students returned to Brynne Hoover-Daye’s sixth-grade English classes this week to help current middle school students with a research project.

Seniors Dylan Jacob and Brenden McCormack, and juniors Allison Charles and Emma Harby spent the day answering questions written by the sixth graders.

The students have been researching to find the answer to the question “What’s the point of school?” The sixth graders will use multiple sources, including these interviews, to write an essay.
