In early March, the Tri-Cities Opera came to Townsend Elementary and performed “Goldie B Locks and the 3 Singing Bears.”
The students, many who were likely experiencing opera for the first time, enjoyed the interactive show where they had the chance to participate in the performance. Basic themes of trusting friends and being honest were explored, and the sets were colorful and engaging as well as being quickly interchanged.
At the end, students had the chance to ask questions of the performers.
