It was Pi-Day in the Walton CSD middle school today.
The annual Pi-Day activities were held in the gym and included four competitions among students – Pi-eating, Pi-baking, pi-digit memorization, and pi-athlon (an obstacle course).
Winners of the events were:
- Pi-eating: Colby Phraner
- Pi-baking: Troy Angevine
- Pi-digit memorization: Elizabeth Richards (98 digits!)
- Pi-athlon: Paul Aitken-Morse
