Morning UPK visits high school class
Earlier this winter, the morning UPK class took a field trip to the high school to visit with the animal science class.
UPK students partnered with high school “ag buddies” to learn how to make butter in mason jars. After enjoying their hard work (both salted and cinnamon sugar butter), they headed to the animal lab.
While there, they collected eggs, pet a chicken, held a rabbit, pet a goat, and had the chance to see and learn about chinchillas and guinea pigs. The class even had the opportunity to meet the school’s miniature horse, Uno.
