The Townsend Elementary concert will lead things off on December 6, followed by the middle school on December 14, and the high school on December 20. All concerts are free and open to the public and are held in the high school auditorium.
Townsend’s concert is set for 6 p.m. Wednesday, December 6. If the concert is postponed because of weather, it will be held at 6 p.m. December 7. Featured at the concert is the second-grade chorus and advanced band, directed by Theresa Bolton, as well as the fourth-grade chorus, and the orchestra, directed by Giancarlo Sidoli.
The middle school concert is set for 7 p.m. Thursday, December 14. Groups performing include the orchestra, directed by Rebekah Doig, and the chorus, also directed by Doig and accompanied by Karen Ball. The sixth-grade band, and the seventh- and eighth-grade band will also perform, under the direction of Raymond Bartlett.
The high school concert finishes the trio of music events at 7 p.m. Wednesday, December 20. Featured groups include the high school chorus, directed by Doig and accompanied by Ball; the high school orchestra, conducted by Doig; and the high school band, directed by Bartlett. Small ensembles performing include the brass ensemble, and the saxophone ensemble.
