Makara MacGibbon
The best part of being a teacher is being able to work with so many wonderful students. Makara MacGibbon is a prime example. Makara is not only intelligent, witty, and highly motivated but she is also an exceptional leader both inside and outside of the classroom. With a big heart and a positive attitude, she tackles any challenge with enthusiasm and an appreciation for the learning opportunity the challenge provides. Makara is incredibly talented and excels in virtually anything decides to do. Whether it’s academics, sports, clubs, family or friends she always gives 100 percent and encourages those around her to do the same. Makara has already joined the United States Army where she will train in Intelligence Operations while pursuing a degree in psychology. Makara’s bright smile and upbeat personality will be missed but it will be a joy watching her continue to shine in all of her future endeavors.
Stephanie Rosa
I consider myself very fortunate to have met a woman like Mrs. Stephanie Rosa. I took my first class with her junior year, and since then I have taken three of her classes. From day one we have had a great relationship. Mrs. Rosa is very professional and maintains boundaries yet is still a person I feel I could go to with any problem for advice. I admire Mrs. Rosa for her genuine intelligence and strong personality. It could be said that I want to be like her when I grow up. Mrs. Rosa has taught me immeasurable things in science and in life. I will forever be thankful that my path crossed hers.
